Treadmill
The Hippo Center dry treadmill is the best on the market. It offers 36 programs with different run times so all horse needs are met. Start up delay and soft stop technology ensures the best experience for even the most nervous of horses. The treadmill operates on a 0 - 10 degree lifting frame to simulate hill work and the cushioned base plate reduces concussion and sound. It is an excellent method of controlled exercise and is perfect for both full training and rehabilitation.
Vitafloor
A dual machine offering both vibration therapy with Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy. Vibration therapy stimulates blood circulation and muscle activation. Used for rehabilitation, maintenance and injury prevention. PEMF therapy works using tiny electrical signals that stimulate the cells, allowing more nutrients into the cell and waste products out. Once enough cells are restored, they start to work more efficiently enhancing recovery time.
Solarium
A horse solarium provides infrared heat to a horse's muscles and skin, aiding in muscle relaxation, improving circulation, drying the coat after exercise or baths, and offering a calming effect. It helps enhance overall equine health and performance, especially during colder months or after intense training sessions
Bespoke Packages
If your horse is recovering from an injury or surgery and requires a structured, tailor made return to work programme, our rehabilitation livery can ensure an optimum recovery and return to fitness.
In accordance with instructions from your vet, we will develop a programme tailored precisely to the needs of your horse, including any specific nutritional requirements. All programmes are delivered by Steph and Mark who will provide you with regular updates on progress, as frequently as you require. We will also liaise with and supervise visits from your vet.
We have many years of experience in caring for and rehabilitating horses. Rehabilitation livery includes all of our standard livery services.
